With a career in law spanning more than 20 years and having worked for large multinational firms, small and medium sized practices, in both the private and public sector, there aren't many areas of law in which Terry hasn't practiced. Her breadth of expertise and meticulous attention to detail are enhanced by her ability to adapt, her insight into an opponent's likely strategy and her foresight into possible future outcomes.

As a long-term strategic litigator representing parties on either side of the coin, Terry quickly realised that she could cultivate better legal solutions for her clients, by taking different paths. Solutions, personalised and crafted to her clienteles' specific needs and not bound or limited, by the confines of an arbitrary, costly, inefficient and emotionally taxing litigation process. Terry concentrated on refining and honing her alternative dispute resolution skills, becoming an accredited NMAS Mediator and, Collaborative Legal Professional.

Offering such additional services to her clientele, professional colleagues and the community,  provides greater strength and clout during the course of negotiations irrespective of whether matters are transactional or relationship based and whether adversarial or non-adversarial.
